Skills for Life

We work with young people to give them #skillsforlife and adventures with others. We welcome volunteers who are enthusiastic and keen to get involved.

Welcome to 1st Burntwood

We are the 1st Burntwood Scout Group, a thriving and popular Group with over 100 members. Our Group consists of two Beaver Colonies, two Cub Packs & a Scout Troop enjoying the fun and adventure that Scouting brings.

We were established in 1949 originally in a Kitchen on Church Road but now on Burntwood Park where we have been for many years. Firstly in a wooden mobile and now in a purpose built HQ from around 1980.
