Welcome to the Mercury Scout Troop!

Hello and thanks for stopping by!

Jump in and get muddy. Give back and get set. Scouts ignore the butterflies and go for it, and soon so will you.

The scout section is for boys and girls aged between 10 and 14 years.

Scouts are encouraged to take part in a wide range of activities as part of their “Balanced Programme” which helps them to find out about the world in which the live in and encourages them to know their own abilities. It also provides opportunities to explore their own values and personal attitudes.

Scouts will learn many traditional scouting skills, such as camping, survival and cooking as well as having the opportunity to partake in a wide range of activities from abseiling to zorbing.

Mercury Troop meets every Monday from 7pm till 9pm, at the Scout HQ in Burntwood Park, Elder Lane, Burntwood.
